Let’s Go Biking Classes

Let’s Go Biking classes will be offered to all 3rd  grade students in Madison County. The Sheriff’s office will be providing the education and Active Routes to School will be providing the helmets.

Volunteers are needed to come and assist with the helmet fittings. No previous experience is required. See attachment for helmet fitting instructions.

The schedule for Mars Hill Elementary is,
Wednesday November the 18th at 8:20 am in the Library for the presentation. After the presentation the students will dismiss and then be recalled one class at a time for the fitting of helmets. The total number of 3rd graders for Mars Hill Elementary is 78 students.

The schedule for Brush Creek Elementary is,
Thursday November the 19th  at 10:00 am in the gym for the presentation. After the presentation Principal Ponder will make the decision to go ahead with the fitting or dismiss and recall individual classes (depending on the amount of volunteers). The total number of 3rd graders for Brush Creek Elementary is 80 students.

The schedule for Hot Springs Elementary is,
Friday November the 20th at 9:00 am in the gym for the presentation and the fitting of helmets immediately  following. The total number of 3rd graders For Hot Springs Elementary is 23 students.

Any and all volunteers are welcomed and encouraged to attend for assisting with fitting the helmets for each individual student.
