Announcing Claudia Reavis’ Retirement & Plans for the Future
As we recover from Covid challenges, there are some changes we would like to share. At the beginning of May 2023, the longtime director of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Claudia Reavis, retired from that position. We want to thank Claudia for her many years of dedicated service to the Chamber.
The board has hired an interim director to fill in. Sandy Stevenson, whom most of you know as the Director of the Visitor Center, will help until we select a new director and develop some new ideas about what services can be provided as a benefit to our members.
Over the next several months, you will be asked to share your thoughts about what we can do to improve the benefits of membership. One service which will begin soon is communication to allow members to share events that you are having with the rest of the membership through a mailing service. We will also be working to schedule Chamber-sponsored events that members might enjoy.
As we go through this transition, we would like to thank those of you who have renewed your membership for the 2023 year and remind those who have not paid to do so before July 15, if not sooner. Final invoices for 2023 dues will be mailed to those of you who have not paid. If payment is not received by July 15, we will assume that you do not wish to continue your membership. We hope that you will renew and join with us as we develop new ideas for member engagement.
