Madison County Community Foundation

To enable people interested in the future to make significant gifts to benefit the community.

With the assistance of the North Carolina Community Foundation, a local board of directors organized the Madison County Community Foundation in 1993. This organization is establishing endowment funds for specified charitable purposes as well as an unrestricted grant-making fund. The interest generated by this fund is used to make yearly grants to serve a wide range of charitable purposes in Madison County. Past grant recipients have included volunteer fire departments, community clubs, senior clubs, and other human service organizations.

The Madison County Community Foundation makes it easy to be a philanthropist whether you wish to endow a specific worthy cause for as little as $5,000, or make a more general gift to be used for the good of the community through the Foundation’s general grant-making fund. You can also contribute any amount to an already established fund created for a special purpose. The gift you give today is an investment in the future of Madison County.
