Community Housing Coalition of Madison County

The Community Housing Coalition of Madison County (CHC) is a local 501(c)-3 non-profit agency serving the needs of low income Madison County residents with a mission to promote and facilitate healthy, safe and affordable housing through advocacy, education, coordination, and resource development.

CHC provides major home repairs and rehabilitation at no-cost to improve the living conditions for our neighbors, in a county where roughly one third of the year-round homes are manufactured homes, and half of all homes are more than 40 years old.

CHC recruits, trains and coordinates over 1,000 volunteers annually in our Neighbors Helping Neighbors home repair programs; Local Volunteers for year-round weekend home repair projects, and Summer Volunteer youth groups from around the country on week-long projects.
