New Board Nominations Sought
A nominating Committee has been formed for the election of Chamber board members to serve during 2003-2004. If you would like to nominate any Chamber member(s) for positions, please contact Jennifer Hott at 689-9351.
Once nominations are finalized, ballots will be mailed to all members, with the results announced at the Chambers annual meeting to be held in June.
A very big thank you from Chamber members to all past and present board members for your time and service. Your support and interest in the economic development of Madison county is appreciated.
And The Hits Just Keep On Comin
Another year has passed and our hit and user numbers keep growing. Hits on our Chamber web site tallied to over 250,000 for the year 2002. This is a 44% increase over last year with over 175,000.
Web sites also count users, which are the actual number of people going to your site. We had over 30,000 users in 2002, compared to 20,000 last year.
The highest hit pages include the Visitors Guide with Accommodations and Recreation and the Business Directory with people going to page C (Cable TV Crafts), R (Real Estate Retreat Centers) and M (Manufacturers Museums) to name a few. Now for the best part, you can get hits too by hot linking your web page for a mere $30.00 per year.
We are just getting to the busy season of people wanting real estate and summer activities, so check out our site and see where you can benefit!
Call 689-9351 or e-mail Jennifer at madisonchamber@main.nc

Hits to your site are just a click away!
