What We Do
Educational Committee:
NC Scholars Banquet, Support education programs through county involvement in schools, $500 scholarship.
Agriculture Committee:
Recognizing agricultural achievements of economic impact. Kepping members informed of agricultural opportunities.
Small/Large Business Committees:
Works with commissioners and economic development to find and promote new and existing businesses. Promoting “Buy Madison”, County Business Directory; New Members Functions.
Travel & Tourism Committee:
Provide brochures on accomodations, dining and local activities; attend trade shows; work with other chambers and organizations to represent Madison County regionally.
Regular Monthly Meetings:
Discuss chamber business issues; hear committee reports; schedule informative speakers on relevant topics.
Environmental & Transportation Committee:
Provides information about the county’s roads, plans and related community developments.
Visitor’s Center:
Provides information and promotes Madison County real estate, student projects, tourism, employers, assists with relocation information, and much more.
Annual Dinner:
Features a guest speaker, hosted at a local establishment, topics include current issues. Elect officers for next year.
